SHC Membership
We are delighted to now be able to offer a Membership scheme answering the question "How can I do more to help?"
Aside from generating income to cover our costs to continue legal climate challenges and lobbying the Borough Council, County Council and the Government as well as the numerous unelected organisations involved, it also allows us to demonstrate the true level of support.
With this provable support, it opens avenues for SHC to join forces with other organisations that are also actively pressing for changes to the way that coastal erosion is dealt with by government agencies.
This is an entirely voluntary donation and will have no bearing on becoming a member.
Members Receive
Join as a member and help us continue to fight for coastal defences and coastal erosion climate victims being given the same support as victims of flooding.

Membership, rules, terms and conditions
Membership of SHC is open to any individual who is interested in furthering its purposes, and who, by applying for membership, has indicated their agreement to become a member and accept the duty of each member. It is the duty of each member to exercise his or her powers as a member of SHC in the way he or she decides in good faith would be most likely to further the purposes of SHC.
Membership is for the individual, not a commercial organisation and is for the purpose of sharing, for the benefit of the community, their knowledge and experience of coastal erosion in the area of Norfolk.
Membership does not afford you explicit voting rights on the operation of either the Charity or the Limited Company, although decisions made during Members Forums may be passed to the trustees of the charity to vote on and potentially carry forward.
Hemsby is open for business and would love people to come, enjoy the beach and support the community efforts.
